I'm looking at getting the FMF or Jardine. The FMF with Bazzaz made good power and isn't crazy raspy loud from what I've read on 1kr.net. D&D has always been loud for me.

I have a Jardine RT5 on mine and love it. I've personally never seen the fmf or d&d on the CBR. The D&D looks heavy to me because its a dual can. Also is it me or is it pointing a little to straight up? It does look different thats for sure and not in a bad way.

how about you simply search the other 5000 threads on the 08 1k exhaust and read the input there?

I just unhooked the muffler flap servo cable and it sounds quite better now.

Yeh... I think you need to check your post count before you start calling people names man.. He has an extremely valid point. We have a ton of threads about exhaust on the 09 1kRR. The search function is wonderful because it keeps our forum from being overrun by multiple threads on the same topic.

Please learn how to use it. It is in all of our interests.

for look you're not gonna beat the Talormade. Most of the others I've seen on the 08+ 1kRR look like shyt simply because they dont flow w/ the bike or look like they are out of place or ****erigged!!!

I'm with ya' the Taylormade in incredilbe .. have had D&D, 2 brothers and other pipes on my bikes but the Taylormade is the best looking on any bike I have seen. But its a hair expensive ... hafta start saving for it.

Haven't seen a deal on one any where.

I'm with ya on that! I almost went with the Taylormade because it simply looks awesome. I happened to know a friend who works for Leo Vince so I got a great price on their CF S/O. They have a CF fairing piece that hides most of the ugly pipework on the side of the bike so all you see is the S/O, Not quite as streamline or pretty as Taylomade but I couldn't beat the price I got on the Leo. It is pretty loud though! Not obnoxous like some but definately loud. I haven't heard the Taylorade in person yet.
