Default RE: camshafts and wat else??

Don't know about "serious" gains, but most race spec camshafts are worth 5-6rwhp, mostly all at the top end (10,000+rpm).
What all you need depends on what you get.

For Example, Erion Racing claims their cams are drop-in replacments. They keep the same profile etc, so you don't even need to re-shim the valves. You just buy them, install them and *poof* extra zip up top.

You also have:
Webcams
HRC Cams
Tornado Cams

HRC has several different versions as well... JSB, WSB, Enduro, etc...

Some will require valve springs and/or ECU to raise the rev limiter high enough to benifit from the new power curve.
You're gonna be looking at spending about $1000 for a set of cams... so if thats worth 5-6hp, go for it.
The first thing to do would be get a Full Ti Exhaust system. A good one (~$1200) will add 10-14hp AND save 10-15lbs. Thats alot more bang for the buck.

YOU REALLY only need to change cam shafts. Basically what your doing with the cam shaft is just changing the duration that the valves are open. (so if you get bigger cam lobes your just allowing more time for the valves to open to do there job.)

if you need any additional info let me know.
