Default Finally got front wheel off the ground!!!

I've been wanting to pull the front end up but haven't been able to just power it up. I tried rebounding off the suspension and that wouldn't work either. The front end would just get real light. Well I finally worked up the nerve to clutch it up today. In first gear at about 5-6k revs I would clutch it and rev pretty hard probably 10-11k and pop the clutch. Came up every time! I tried the same in second gear though and it seems like the clutch just slipped. Wouldn't do anything. What gives with 2nd? Am I doing something wrong?

Get your speed up for second. It is a bit unnerving at first, but lots of fun riding a wheelie.

Haha, no ****.

Man some of you guys need to relax. Just assume the rider used his best judgement until given a reason not to think so.

Empty back roads work just as good. When you were trying to power up and rebounding off the suspension, did you also close the throttle and open it quicklly? Thats how I get my front end up on mine, Ialso have some learning to do. That bike doesn't look too bad so I'd invest in some sliders for the ol Oh ****, in case it ever happens.

I actually did do it in my backyard! Just kidding. It was on a back road that never has any traffic. About as safe as I could be on the street.
