NOOOOOOO. Don't paint that bike... that will hurt its value more than moderately high miles on a CBR.

Well I didn't want to make a new post so ill post here. Was cut off by a car today within a inch of hitting him and I locked up my front brakes (newbie rider.. I even learned about that through msf)... did what you guys call a high side fall? -- thrown off about 4-5 car length away and my bike laid within arms reach from me, the guy slowed down and jetted off as I stood up with my middle finger up in the air. had my gear on and didnt get any rashes but I landed on my left shoulder and got a broken clavicle and a broken rib. typing with one hand atm. left side of bike is destroyed, but able to ride 12 miles home. Yes im glad i survived... could have been worst... alot worst. doctors gave me ibuprofen and Oxycodone --- no surgery/cast just a arm sling. Wear your gear people it saved my life, had road rash on back left corner of helmet to front right corner of helmet. will post pics when I can lift my arm to take pics.

Ouch that sucks. Glad you could stand up after that.

I know it'll ring a little hollow right now but both you and your bike survived. Just need a little time to heal up and you'll both be right as rain.
