Some photos from a ride that began a couple of weeks ago now. About 2200 miles altogether. The CBR ran flawlessly as usual, even at over 12,000 feet in Colorado.
Rocky Mountain National Park -
South of Manila, UT near Flaming Gorge -
Some along US40 in Colorado -
A couple on CO14 and the Poudre River -
Along the Green River in Wyoming, Fontenelle Reservoir -
Found some shade in McCammon, Idaho at an abandoned truck stop. Temp was a little over 100F -

My 2nd bike is a wee strom . Great bike in a lot of ways , but I miss the outright power of the
CBR . I'm in the process of getting the old girl registered again for summer .
Riding position on the V Strom is perfect for me . I've ordered a set of Danmoto 3D clip ons for the CBR . Hope to soften the riding posi a bit .

Thanks Jarvid, I responded to your post the other day but it got lost somewhere. We were only out 6 days, unfortunately back to work now. I am planning the next one tho.
That difference really shows up at high elevation where we spent a lot of time this trip. My buddy on the 650 had a little more trouble passing on the short straights than I did.
