Got this answer back from Rob at Fylde Bike Meet re parking for CBR night....

" Hoping to section off an area, for CBR parking, so we can line-up models in date or size order, or similar.

Blackpool Honda are keen to get involved, so will hopefully have the new CBR's and a few goodies to give away etc. "

16th is a Monday night. Suits me right down to the ground.
Nice info Shakey. Can't wait to see Blackpool again. Any good tips for a hotel?

I'll do some checking tomorrow after I get back from taking my eldest lad for his Part 1 motorcycle test in the morning.

Do you mean Premier Inn type of place, B&B etc ... I have a mate who has a hotel just round the corner.. nice place, family run.. literally 100 yds away from the meet site! I'll give him a shout tomorrow....

Henry ... the hotel is called "The Hollingworth Hotel" and the owner is called Mike Green. He's a top bloke!

Here's a link to their website:

Hollingworth Hotel

If you mention that "Mark from A1 Computers" recommended him to you, I'm sure he'll take care of you ...

As long as he doesn't offer special dongle services I'll feel quite cosy with that arrangement.
Yep, checked the webby. Looks cool.
Cheers Mark.

They do have a wireless broadband connection too! So you can take your laptop along to post up the pictures!

I installed it for them last year ........ so it probably doesn't work now! lol

Thanks for asking matey, he didn't pass unfortunately. He put a foot down once on the slow ride following the examiner. Otherwise a faultless performance.

The Monday meet usually starts at 6.30, but doesn't get going till 7ish.

Do you know where I might find a headlamp fairing, screen and L/H lower fairing panel for my '88 1000F-J .... had a little accident today! Fell off the paddock stand! As I was lowering it down, it slipped off the stand and fell over. It hit the wall, smashing the headlamp fairing and screen on the L/H side and as it hit the deck, it crushed and split the L/H lower fairing panel. Even broke my new mirrors! Absolutely gutted!!! I'll still be at CBR night, even if I dont find replacements in time.
