Default New 2012 CBR250R - 40 miles on it - Exhaust Question

Ello all!

You might have seen a few posts of mine about my 1999 CBR600F4.

Well, I decided I wanted a 250CBR and I got this 2012 CBR250R with 40 miles on it for only $3600. Bought it from a dealer, still has 10 months warranty!

Anyway, I was considering doing a little bit of work on her and then eventually gifting this bike to my wife since she does eventually want to start riding and I think this 250 would be perfect.

My question is pretty basic... which exhaust slip should I buy? I'm looking for something that's compatible obviously and links would be fantastic help for me as well.

Also, is putting on a slip something I could do myself easily at home? Thanks everyone.

FYI, the CBR250R motor is basically a fuel injected version of an XR250 motor so opening up the pipes is gonna make it sound like a dirt bike/thumper (as it is a single cylinder). That being said, Two Brothers makes a pretty economical slip on and the current "black series" exhausts they make are actually pretty nice. Another option is the Leo Vince exhaust, but they just came out with them like a month or so ago so the price is probably gonna be a bit higher.

Thanks for the replies.

So, something like this would work?

Two Brothers Racing V.A.L.E. M-2 Black Series Slip-On Exhaust - Street Bike - Motorcycle Superstore

And how easy is it to install this on my own?

Very easy, it should take no more than 10-15 minutes to put on and a few basic game tools. The two bros is a very nice pipe however a bit pricey for my taste. I went with Leo Vinces stainless slip-on for my 2011 250r and am very happy with it. It is a tad on the loud side though.
