Any interest in the 2015 offerings?
Seems like Kawasaki is trying to restart the HP Wars with the new H2 and H2R. BMW has redone the s1000rr, restyling it and adding more electronic wizardry than even my HP4 has. Ducati is releasing a scrambler???
So anyone interested in what's coming? Planning which booth you're gonna scramble to at the IMS?

I don't think the H2 is anything more than a marketing stunt. I'm sure the road version is going to be insanely expensive (probably north of $50k). It's cool, but I don't think it's an honest tribute to the original H2 - just a headline grabber. You can tell by the styling, it's just as much for show as it is go.
The new Scrambler is going to be awesome. It's a bit if a hipster magnet, but cool none the less.
Doesn't the new Beemer put out more power too? Do you by chance have a link to some new specs? Are you interested in the '15 offerings?

INTERMOT 2014: 2015 BMW S 1000 RR - Common Tread - RevZilla
I'm calling the 2015 s1000rr Circe's little half-sister. Pretty much everything in it is from the HP4. The look isn't as... Aggressive as the prior year bikes and it's taking some flack for that from current owners. Maybe sour grapes. But obviously I'm not even considering trading in a HP4 for 6 extra HP

Yeah, I'd hardly say your bike is outdated or inferior.

Oh and if I were completely insane...
alpha Performance BMW S1000 RR - HP4 Complete TURBO Kit
And still come out under the H2R price

I'm with you, there's nothing ground-breaking. Unless you count the H2 - which will still cost $50 for the street version... And even then - I wouldn't like it as is... I'd have to modify the hell out of it.
