Default For those of you who ride/ live in North Jersey/ NYC

Hi all,

I recently got a job offer working in NYC and am looking to move either into the city or Hoboken. I currently live in Central NJ (Princeton area) and will be commuting until I can find a place to live. That being said, my bike (F4) has always been garage kept and although I know people do it, I feel a little uneasy about having it parked in the street and in the open.

For those of you who live and/or ride in these areas do you do anything different (locks, covers, etc) given that your bikes aren't garaged? Or just leave them as is. Also, most of my riding is on long suburban roads vs. in city traffic so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
