Default New guy putting together an F4i trackbike project

Hello, I'm putting together a trackbike and want to use the F4i. I've owned an F4 and a 600RR, both used on the track and despite everyone I know's opinion, I like the F4i much better. It feels like a toy vs the 600RR that feels like an instrument. I will be hunting for performance parts, but what I really, really want is a Scotts damper mount for the F4. They don't make them anymore but maybe I'll find one here.

Find a damper you want to use, and make your own mounts!

Welcome to CBRF, BTW.

Thank you and I will just get a Scotts damper and mount if I have to, but I'd prefer the top triple clamp with F4 engraved on it. They only made a few. Doubt I'll ever find one though

Welcome to the shop!

Nice, reliable choice. Rolled a few of these old girls off the line and crossed a few lines out front.

Could always drop by a local machine shop with a rendering and let them code the engraving for ya. A lot of small shops wouldn't mind taking on the task. Hope ya get what need here and let us know how you progress. Good luck.
