Default New CBR600F3 owner

Hey all. Today I got my first CBR600F3. Actually, my first ever honda. What took me so long. It's a beaut. It's a '95 with 41000 on the clock but at two owners, it's been well looked after. I rode it home approx 50 mile through really heavy fog, not that I noticed. Such a joy to ride. One issue, it has a rattle from the head, which I'm sure is the cam chain tensioner. Its only just started happening so I'm not freaking out. I love getting stuck in with a spanner but I'm no bike tech so I know my limits. All help from you guys n gals will be much appreciated. So thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum John.

My guess is your diagnosis is correct, it's a common issue, there's plenty of info on cam chains on here.

Do a search and if you need extra help, just ask.

Welcome to CBRF! An F3 with a CCT issue? No way!

Easy fix, with withers sprung OEM one or a manual one.

The f3 was my all time favorite from the few bikes I've owned.
