Default Good deal or a bust

What's going on everybody.
I am new to the cbr world, so I am asking for your input.
Yesterday I bought a 1994 CBR1000 for $4200, I have never owned a Honda but I have always heard good thing about them. Quick specs: bike is red, white and black, 22000 miles, 100% stock with nada single scratch on her, on inspection found no leaks, no road rash, and no scrapes. I purchased this bike from a dealer in Roseville, CA., I have used this dealer in the past for my other bikes and repairs so I had a lot of trust in them. The bike looks to have been WELL ridden by an experienced rider, tires where shot, so I would only buy this if dealer installed NEW Michellins, which they did. The bike was listed @$5299 on there website.
It looks like a great deal, I am picking the bike up on Tuesday, so what do ya think???

Good deal or a bust.

FYI, I did spend time on this forum reading about this bike and am aware of the few technical problems that can occur.

I'm not sure which bike you have, but I'm looking at all the '94 Hondas listed on NADA.com. This is what I see:

CB1000R = $2600 Avg Retail
CBR1000FR = $3090 Avg Retail

Motorcycle markups at dealers are like that. For a dealer price that is good but for a personal sale that is a little high

Welcome to the forum. You already signed for the bike so need to ask if the price is good now. If you're happy with it, then it's all good. Post some pics when you get them.

How long have you been riding? If not long, this will be a powerful bike for you. Be careful, and the bike doesn't seem too bad. Is there any warranty?

That was what I was thinking. A lot of money for a 12 year old bike.

It's a great bike, espically if it was taken care of. However that price is quite high. You could have bought a late 90's or early 2000's sportbike for that price. Heck I only paid $3000 for my 95 900RR.
