just ordered a new Round Diabolus Stubby carbon slip on for my cbr600f 2012,
do i require a gasket ? not sure as i have never tackled this job before on any bike,

For the end can? There's usually a ring that you'll need to reuse (between can and midpipe link) to have it seal correctly, but it doesn't need to be new

 

thanks for that,ordered one from local honda dealership,2 days delivery,no point in stripping it down to find its knackered and then having to wait to refit the new end can.
2 days delivery is from main warehouse to honda dealership,
