New Hurricane Members say hello here!
#1329
Hello. I'm a 27 year old bloke from Denmark who recently got my hands on a beautiful CBR1000F with 54.000km on the clock. I'm absolutely in love with the stability and reliability of this thing. I don't like the erratic characteristics of modern bikes and was looking for something to tour Europe with, perhaps with a pilion. I had some experience on the CBR600 and liked how it rode so that helped as well.
These bikes have mostly gone under the radar here in my country, perhaps it's the dated looks and the fact that most of them are 25 year old machines with a demographic of mainly older men (who are perhaps not too inclined to the whole sell-on-the-web thing where most bikes are found today).
Suffice to say, they're quite rare here. I've only spotted 1 other CBR1000F in a city of 1.2m people. So I feel special already.
However, I've got very little knowledge about the mechanics of these things and I'm very keen on keeping it maintained so this whole webpage is a huge ressource to me.
