After Market Exhaust CBR1000ft
Picked up a new set of stainless Laser exhausts on Saturday and my two sons fitted them for me today.
My eldest son, after a ride together a week ago said to me, " dad you need to do something about the noise of your cbr1000ft. It sounds like a muffled lawn mower".
Well I was quite taken back by his words as I had never really seen it that way. He rides a CBR1000rr with a stainless single under the seat cowl and it sounds grunty but good strong sound. So out we go and come back with the two stainless Laser exhausts and I must say it is absolutely amazing the change that it's done both in sound and performance.
Sound wise, by the first corner which is only a hundred metres away from our gate, I was totally in love with the sound of the new system.
Again I guess also, "A load bike is a safer bike" and she is now no where near being likened to a lawn mower.
If any out there getting ready to celebrate xmas in July, enjoy and be safe.
It has proven worthwhile twice now celebrating Christmas in July for us so we will continue that tradition.
We have also been building a couple of bike workbench's to put our two old cb750's on that the two son's and I are doing ground up builds on and doing them both into Cafe Styles.
Now that they are underway we are keeping our eye out for the next family project.
