Default HOW TO... Guidelines

Hello,
First let me thank everyone who has contributed thus far to the DIY section.

Let me also say that this section is Not for tech questions...the posts in this section should ONLY be someone explaining how to do something. Basically, I would like if this section wasnt cluttered up with "how do i do this or that"...but moreso, "this is how i went about doing this", with step by step explanations.

If you have previously posted a technical question in here, it has been moved to general tech.

If there are any questions, feel free to PM me.

Default Guard

I have a honda 2005 cbr 600 rr the tailpipe comes out the tail and there is a guard that protects the sensor of the bake brake (the cord is wrapped in black plastic and passes by the start of the exhaust the guard also holds a tube that starts from a resivior to the left of the passenger footpeg) the guard is black and the guard is to the right of the passengers footpeg my question is the place where you put the screw in the middle of the guard it goes right to the exhaust like there is knowhere to screw it into. i have no idea where to screw in the screw any ideas?
