2002 cbrhow do I faux over heating and turning off while driving.

You find out why it's overheating and fix it.

@Op- Does the fan come on? What's the coolant level in the reservoir?

All of the above!

Check your coolant level.
Check your fan switches on.
Check your rad cap is tight, sealed and secure.
