I'd suggest you get in touch with ELECTREX
They make a replacement reg/rec for a huge range of bikes.

They are far better than the original units from Honda, and a lot cheaper.
I'd be careful buying cheap Chinese electrical parts - most of the ones we have seen either don't fit or don't work.
Taking a chance on a secondhand one........................mmmmm. Preferably not.

 

I've always been a fan of going the GSX/R route. It's a little work, but no more problems down the road.
