Default Headlights not working

Hi guys, just hoping I could get some help diagnosing my headlights. They both (normal and high beam) stopped working. I was going to check fuses but I understand there arent any for the lights. I checked superficially (ie. without taking anything apart) for any loose connections as well. I have an '05 CBR RR. thanks

I don't know that much about the 05 CBR's, but They would be the only bikes that I've heard of that don't have fuses for their light's (unless they wanted small electrical fires happening in the headlight shell) So check your handbook to be sure (to be sure)

I haven't the vaguest idea for the 05's
But you should head over to the new member area and introduce yourself so we can better know your backround and capabilities in order to point you in the right direction in a way you will understand.
For future notice in case you need anything else..

Default both headlights not working

I had the same problem that happened multiple times. I could not figured what caused it. I've removed every fuse and relays but no dice.

I thought my flash-to-pass contributed to the prbolem

It fixed itself over time, just let it rest. I noticed if you use the kill switch to turn off and then turn it back on, that may help fix the problem.

Any other ideas? I did get to the fuses, inspected the headlight fuse (it was ok), replaced it anyway, and still no go.

Had the same problem a week ago. The culprit was the starter button. There is a wire that goes to the starter button that cuts the head light power when starting, had come loose from the switch. A quick solder job and I was back on the road. And FYI, the fuse box behind the left fairing had a fuse for the headlights.

i had a that problem 2 weeks ago on my 02 f4i it just so happen im an auto electrition so just fallow the wires from the head lights and found that my harness had burnt very odd cuz my fuse was fine so i just ran a new wire and (fused of course) and havent had a problem since
FYI fuses are to protect wires so you should realy look harder for that fuse
