Guys.. I took a spill and have this crack in my engine block. Its at the top of the stator so I'm hoping it won't leak as much oil. What are my options? jb weld? lol

It's on top, so it doesn't see much oil.

I would put a new gasket and swipe some sealer on it from good hole to good hole. You probably will be okay.

 

im assuming you're talking about the chunk missing from the bolt hole?
either new gasket and/or rtv on it. or find someone who can weld it so it can be drilled and tapped

 

Hope I'm not to late but I agree. New gasket or gasket former would be ok. Stator case is not very high oil pressure. (I read that from another post.) I used blue gasket former and followed the instructions and never had an issue. The weld could work but it would require even more time and money than a gew gasket. (One bolt is ok... but three or four no go. Lol)
