Default Nail in tire....question..

Just had new Metzeler Sportec M-1 put on the front and rear of the bike..Dont even have 10 miles on the tires, and already picked up a drywall screw in the rear tire, and it slowly leaking air..Like a car, can i just get this plugged and be safe, or is there a better solution, other than buying a new tire and paying to have it put on..

DONT PLUG IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spend the extra money and have the tire taken off and get it PATCHED. they do it here for $12 and plug for $2. patch is so much more realible!!!its your LIFE $2 or $12? plus its a new tire so i would patch it for the money invested in the tire and possible your life. my .02 cents

If I was going to ride on it I'd put a patch on the inside. I've personally thrown away tires with less than 100 miles due to the same deal. Prolly with a patch or plug they're safe but I can't ride hard knowing the only thing between me and a flat is a patch/plug.

A patch on the inside of the tire is cool. I would have no worries with that, and have done it a few times meself.
A plug is fine to get you home, but it's a temporary fix.
