95 CBR 900 Is it possible to swap the head without removing engine from frame
Hi all,
Recently I purchased a 95 CBR900. It runs and drives well. I though it was a good deal until i discovered there is a crack on one of exhaust stud seats. Now I am looking into swapping the head. My question is do I have to drop the engine just for swapping head? Is there enough space to do the job without removing the engine from frame?

With the 95 CBR900 you could lift the head but to remove the head you need to drop the motor out of the frame. If you don’t want to buy a manual which I think is the best option, on the interweb there is free .pdf scan of a service manual for the later 96 – 98 CBR900RR. https://mototribu.com/constructeur/h...ique_900rr.pdf
