Default Speed Bleeder

Can you buy the clear hose with the speed bleeding valve at auto parts stores...not the actual bleeder screws that you put in your caliper...just the generic hose and valve...

I bought a bleeder kit that says that it has a 1 way valve. Not really. I had to squeeze tighten loosen, etc.

I got a container and tube out of the deal. But it was less than $10 bucks, so what the heck.

I picked up my mityvac kit at a parts store for around $20, well worth the money in time and frustration saved.

I assume that it's a vacuum bleeder. Can you give us a synopsis of its operation?

Basically you hook up the hose to the pump and the bleeder screw, pump it a few times, open the bleeder screw, and it pulls out the old brake fluid into its container. You need to keep filling the resivoir on your bike. Pretty easy, takes me about 10 minutes to completely replace my brake fluid.

I think I picked mine up at Harbor Freight for $20, there's lots of different kits of varying prices.
