You can always try to fit a centerstand onto the F4i, they are OEM on EU models:

Nice bike. Very clean!

Does the sidestand touch pavement when the centrestand is down?

I guess I'm no typical "American".. plenty of self-respect and for others, too.
All of my street legal Hondas have centerstands:

Centerstand makes chain/tire maintenance much easier, more stable parking, unweigh the rear tire/suspension while parked.. No the sidestand does not touch pavement when centerstand is deployed.

You could slide on old tire iron through the centerstand mounting holes then get a couple of friends to help you lift it up and sit it on jackstands. Or jack it yourself very carefully and sit the tire iron on the stands.

After two decades of riding motorcycles, I know having a center stand mounted on the bike isn't going to slow me down anymore than having 2psi lower in tire pressure.
But I sure appreciate the convenience of the center stand when lubing the chain or putting air in the tires.

So where am I even supposed to hook the bike stands on the rear? There's nothing sticking out of the swingarm.

I was unaware of the HF stands, but CG has stands too
https://www.cyclegear.com/search?_ut...Paddock+Stands

Just remember that paddock stands will not allow you to change forks, shocks or perform any swingarm work. You'll need a frame stand and/or headstock stand for that.

On most stands if you don't have spools, you can flip the mechanism over to the flat part and put it underneath the swingarm. For this reason, I don't like the HF stand, as it would be metal on metal. My F4i didn't come with spools but I scored a swingarm that someone had welded on and when I swapped the stock shock to the Ohlins I had that put on. Prior to that my T-Rex stands had the rubber grommets on them for resting under the swingarm. My Fireblade came with threaded holes which allowed me to screw aftermarket spools (or just plain screws for that matter) into. Spools add consistency but aren't absolutely necessary.

I had that HF stand. It sucked. It was tweaked. I untweaked it. The paddles have that little lip on the inside that the swingarm actually sits on because the swingarm is to wide, even the skinny F2 swingarm. I threw it away. But I did keep the wheels from it to use on the "other" HF stand, the raw aluminum trellis looking one. Because the wheels on the trellis looking aluminum one has silicone wheels that "flat spot" and comes loose from their center. Now it works good but its a spool stand.
