Maybe this is the wrong category but I wanted to show my f4i brothers.
I shot this video yesterday and logged 4 hours onto my sport pilot license. It's like a flying motorcycle. Totally open to the elements, no cage.

 

Man oh man that is something I`ve always wanted to try, there even is a small airfield 5km from our house but the courses are so expensive that it has always fallen in second place... Guess the closest I can come to controlled flying happens with a snowboard and a kite. Fun too.

 

This guy is pretty reasonable. $100/hr for the first four hours then 115 if you don't buy an aircraft from him, 100/hr if you do. You only need 15 hours of instructed flight and 5 hours solo to get the license. So about 1500 then you can buy a machine and fly as much as you want.

 

Looks boring. I'm not in the least bit envious or jealous.

 

Thats pretty crazy. I am on the other hand pretty damn jealous . THat looks cool as hell to me. I been a fan of flight since a little tike though so go figure. Cool stuff.

 

Well, flying like we were wasn't an adrenaline rush, but it was beautiful and amazing. If you want an adrenaline rush you can buy one that goes 100+mph and fly 10 feet off the ground and trim the tops of trees. Those pilot's don't last long from what I hear though.
