How hard would it be to put a 2008-2015 tail on a F4i?

So, when I had my first go at a 1000rr tail, I couldn't get it to look right. I was using aluminum square tube for my subframe, and there were too many gaps on the front side because of the contours that the tail fairing has. Go to a dealer and look closely at how the fairing sits on the 1000rr's subframe. It sits sort of funny.
With that said, it's not out of the realm of possibility to run a 1000rr subframe on your bike, either, which *could* negate a headache's worth of fabrication. Since I have a 1000rr subframe (with the mounts un-altered) on my bike, we could compare the mounts and its a possibility that it might simply mount to your F4i frame. And if it doesn't, it may be as simple as getting a tab welded onto your F4i frame for it.
It's the route I went, it looks better and it is lighter that your stock subframe/battery tray too. Plus, everything fits together and works together like it should.
Things that would come into play are: where/how the gas tank sits on your frame and how that would work with the 1000rr subframe and the seat/to-tank gap/shape.
