I have the same problem (2 blinks). It happens intermittently, usually after the bike has been sitting for a couple of days. Erratic idle for about 5 seconds then FI light comes on and idle smooths out. Bike runs fine.

After about 10 minutes of riding, if I shut off the bike & restart it, no light and it runs fine. Maddening.

It all started when my battery took a crap & I replaced it. Dunno why.

I've replaced the MAP sensor, spark plugs, fuel pressure regulator...all to no avail.

Also, I have a PCIII, K&N air filter & 2 Bros. pipe. I bypassed the PCIII just to see if that was the problem. Nope.

I've checked the vacuum hoses as best I can...might need to do another check of 'em.

Any other ideas?

 

Hello, dear friends today i managed to resolve the problem. On the MAP sensor of my bike there wasn't connected any hose (I have a very dumb mechanic). I have found the hose and plug it on the MAP sensor. Now the bike run's perfect. Thank you very much for your help !!!
