Default Auctmarts fairings install

Here are some pics of my install process using Auctmarts fairings. I'll update as I get more done. Yes the tank will be painted to match, but that's last "to do" on the list. It's going slowly as I have a kitchen remodel going on at the same time unfortunately. Down to the front fairing and I'm having some problems with fitment.

E36s are the best. And e36 M3s are better than that. Avus Blue e36 M3s top even that...

What fitment issues are you running into? Is it where the holes are drilled? How the pieces line up together? Thinking of ordering Auctmart fairings myself.

I was having big problems getting the nose to fit right but I guess I held my head just right today and it popped right on. Got the bolts in and it appears to good. Now I'm just fighting with the plastic screws that hold the two side fairings on from the bottom. I still have to modify the mounting holes for the front fender as the nuts won't fit in the slots. Have to dremel those out a little bit I guess.

I've always liked the Repsol scheme. Look forward to the finished product.

Finally got the front fender holes opened up a little bit to fit the nut inserts and got the fender installed. Few more pics before I got the fender installed.

Thumbs up

Even though I haven't gotten the finishing touches done on my fairing install, I think I can fairily give the auctmarts fairings a positive feedback. They were very easy to install with minimal modifications. I pretty much only had to open a few of the holes on the side fairings to fit the rubber threaded grommets. They were a little bit smaller than on my oem fairings. A simple step bit worked perfect for that. The holes on the front fender that had to be opened up a little bit more were the only other thing. Other than that they were just about a perfect fit.
