IF i tur the key the fuel pump comes on. then when i go to start it it will fire die then keep crankin and it will keep doin that. i also noticed alot of black smoke coming out of the pipe when i was tryin to start it.

 

sounds like a fuel problem or spark plug problem this just happend to me and it was both fuel and plugs

my fuel line was getting pinch against the frame and my plugs were just old

 

Id start with checking your air filter/air intake/etc all that because if youre getting black smoke then youre running rich so your engine may not be getting enough oxygen. If theres nothing preventing it from getting oxygen then you might have a fuel issue and its dumping too much gas into the engine.
