New member with an F4i here. For those who haven't seen my intro thread, my name is Vitaliy and I live in Vancouver, WA. Bought this bike in February after searching around for a while. Originally I wanted a 94-97 VFR but this was cheap and I'm really happy I bought this bike.

Bringing her home. Didn't run. Installed a new fuel pump and a sensor, cleaned out the rust in the tank. Unfortunately I think I deleted the pics of the tank and pump, they were nasty.

As you can see, zip ties holding it together. I might be getting new fairings later this year but haven't decided yet. That's my brother's Sabre, still a work in progress.

My dad, 52, enjoying the F4i.

Getting surgery.

Bought a new unpainted fairing for the front. Haven't taken any pics outside yet but these should do for now. Need to install bolts on the fairings and get rid of the zip ties and rewrap the passenger seat black probably.
I'm wondering if anyone knows the brand of exhaust I have? All it says is Titanium on it.

Enjoy and thanks for looking!

I tried connecting the power commander 3 I bought used and my laptop sees it hooked up but won't communicate. Does anyone know how to resolve that? Thanks

Your brothers Sabre, is it the 1100 or 700/750? Is he aware of the "lack of oil problem" those things had. Holeshot performance will hook him up if he hasnt already. O' almost forgot, nice CBR F4i.

It's a 700, yeah we are aware, planning on getting the kit this winter when we'll be doing the majority of the work.
And thanks!

Looks like a micron exahust by the color. Good choice on the F4i vs the VFR. Vfr's are awesome but the F4i is more awesome.

That was my guess too, Micron, just wanted to see if anyone knew for certain.
Yeah I still want a VFR I think but I love this bike.

Tore the old material off the passenger seat and redid it with some fresh black vinyl.
Need to get some front blinkers and chain guard for it now. One of the fork seals is leaking pretty significantly but I think I'll finish off the season on it and get a gsxr front end on it over the winter.

GSXR front ends are for Suzuki's, leave them there.

From what I've found out they are the closest thing to the stock fork lengths. I don't want to go with an rr front because I don't want to lower the bike or change anything significantly. What would you recommend instead of a gsxr front?
