Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a 2005 CBR600F which had been dropped so I am looking at fairing kits for it and I have noticed that the kits for the CBR600F don't seem to come with a tank fairing but the CBR600RR do seem to come with the tank cover??? Is there some reason for why this is??? Or are there options out there with the tank cover?

Because there isnt a tank fairing for the 600F (F4i). The F4 just has a metal gas tank, and any fairing kit for it is going to give you all the plastics on the bike. Upper, left, right and rear cowls. However, the RR's do have a tank cover, but that cover will not be a bolt on fit on the F4i. I havent really read anywhere where someone has done it. Maybe you can mod it in, I dunno. Maybe search that. Just chiming in regarding your question. Maybe these guys make one? But every kit I ever saw they did not.

Hmmm that is what I thought must have been the case. So I am assuming then that if you put a new fairing kit on your 600F you would basically have to get the tank painted to suit the new fairing kit then!!
