Powder coating it white to match the fairing. Pita to get it out though, little update finally got a garage to work in. I have been working out of my neighbors but he only had one spot so I rented the space next to his. Hopefully this week I'll have time to get my engine hoist from my brothers to build this bad boy.

 

I have recently plasti dipped all my plastics on my track bike.Won't know how it will hold up until I hit the track in a couple of weeks.

No updates currently was on call Friday (worked til 4am ) worked Saturday and in between had to give prego wife the attention she deserves. On a call right now so hopefully it doesn't take all night..

 

Just wanted to let you guys know I am painting the subframe with plast dip and will let you know how it turns out. I have put one coat on so far and plan to put on 4 total.

 

All 4 coats are done and it turned out really good. I am going to let it dry over night and then take some pics and post them tomorrow.

 

Can't wait to see 'er.

I can post pictures if you would like but it is just my subframe, I am not doing the frame or anything else until I get a little bit more into the build. I am happy with the results though and it does look good and should hold up okayish.

 

Update I tore the bike apart last couple dats . couple things the swing arm was dented so I popped that out and will weld a new spool mount. The other thing is the beating for the shock mount seems to be frozen. I'm not sure how important that little bearing is but I'll probably just replace it. Tore all the pegs apart and cleaned them a bit also picked up some caliper pint for the rotor centers. Contacted a different vendor about PC the other guy doesn't return phone calls.
