Now that I have you're attention anyone know where I can locate a pdf manual. I live on a sailboat so I try to cut down on collecting things.

thanks in advance Paul

StephyGee.com

IIRC, it's the FSM without the wiring diagram. If you should need that, you may be able to find one elsewhere or one of us can scan ours for you.

There should be a wiring diagram on google. Hey Modified, where do you live? I can't quite make out the street sign, but it looks awfully familiar.

74 thanks. Conrice I used to live on Trafalgar in cape coral but moved to the cape coral yacht club on our boat. The pic was taken on the corner of Del Prado and Pine Island in the steak and shake parking lot lol. The Vw right behind is my wife's diesel too super easy to work on.

That's right, I remember now (I think you mentioned that before in another thread). I used to live off Country Club about 5 yrs ago. I saw that sign and thought to myself "man, that looks a lot like the Cape!" Did you go to that bike night they had on 47th last weekend (or maybe the week before)?

I have not gone to Bike Night since last year. I cheated for a while and bought my inlaws GSXR 600 then 80 yo lady totaled her so now I got this. I like her but she gets loose in the front on me daily this thing needs steering damper big time. Standups are a blast though Power for days. conrice how do you like having risers? I love stunting but I also once and a while still like to tuck and go.

You can still tuck-n-go from highway speeds, but you do lose a lot of it with true dirty bars below that. Drag bars are a good compromise IMO. I tagged along with a gixxer after I had done the conversion, and because of the taller risers and dirty bars, he'd walk away from me with ease while I was carrying the front wheel and short shifting trying to keep up from a stop.

But it's a lot more comfortable on the back with risers for sure. And a damper is a must, because of less weight over the front and increased leverage on the bars.

Sorry to hear about your gix6. I hope you weren't banged up too bad from it...
