Default CBR 929 mid range cutting out

Well my I have had this CBR a couple years now. First motor had been down and cracked the bottom of the case.......it ran but leaked oil and something was off in the mid-range. A dyno looked like a V. As soon as it was under a load it fell off. So I bought a gently used motor and swapped them which eliminated my oil leak and we believed would eliminate my mid end issues. But it didn't........right back on the dyno......same results. It sounds snappy at an idle but as soon as you load it up it cuts out. Replacing fuel filter and coils in the next attempt to solve the problem. Anything else except the CPU I might be overlooking?

Does the power come back at high rpm?
What exhaust are you running?

It seems to. Like I said the Dyno shows a distinctive V shape. Exhaust is Erion and Exhaust valve is wide open.

Any other ideas? And it's been awhile.......but I thought that the HTEV testing info concluded that if you were having problems that making sure it was wide open would yield good results?

Tps bad?
Other than that, I'm out of ideas without knowing any details of the problem.

Did you ever find the cause? I'm having the same issue with my 929, htev completely removed but the servo still connected. No engine light on or nothing. Seems to happen in 1st and 2nd around 6k rpms, and at 7k or 8k takes back off like a rocket.

As a matter of fact I just got a call from it's new owner! It was a fuel pressure regulator sensor! Replaced and runs great! Just wish I had figured it out!
