Default 2001 CBR 929 52k Miles Excellent Condition - Decent Deal or No?

Hello,

A 2001 CBR 929rr is on sale. The guy is claiming that the bike is in mint condition. It has been very well taken care of its entire life. It has 52k original miles. It has clean title and he is asking $2500 firm (with no room for negotiation) for it. Would it be a decent deal or should I look further?

That's a decent deal. That dampener is worth $400 by itself. It has some other aftermarket stuff on it, which is good because those are hard to find these days.

Are the fairings original?

Yes the fairings are original. Other than damper and the full two bros, sliders, flush mounts, corbin, do u see anything else?

Are miles really that big of a factor?

The bike has a Two Brothers bolt-on muffler not a full aftermarket exhaust.

I cant speak to that specific model, but Honda engines in general are rock solid if properly maintained. as Demon stated, thats not that many miles assuming its a well taken care of bike.

I paid 3600 for my mint 95 model.. I'd hope all over 929 for that price. esp if it looks that good as in pics. 2500 is cheap.
