I run a cbr893 in a kit car! And drag race it regularly but yesterday an oil lead apeared, from above the clutch basket casing... Something had punctured the casing from the inside.
So stripped it down this morning and found this in the oil pick up.

Does anyone know where it's from as I have the clutch case off and also the sump but can't see anything.

I think I've been lucky because I can sort the littl hole out in the case and it still runs well and shifts gear ok. But something says in my head I would prefer to know what it is.

It's metal and not cast, has two holes in the end that would look like a spring retainer but has no wear marks in it, so I am confused.

Looking forward to hearing your ideas and if you have a picture of one that you have would be great too.

Looks just like a bearing half - except its flat. I don't have a clue what it is either...
