Default ASR321's 95 build

Hey guys ive been browsing around the forums the past few days and i figured i should start a thread for all the random questions i am going to have on this bike haha, and of course so you can see the progress as it goes. Ive only been working on it for a week so far so we will see where it goes!

When i got the bike

had a bad clutch. upper fairing and tail were junk and ziptied together under the leopard print fur. tank has a couple small dents in it nothing too bad. but it ran great and everything under the fairing looked good. had new tires, chain, sprockets on it. ended up trading an f150 (that i got for 150 bucks) for it. not a bad trade at all i dont think! I put the clutch in it right away and then it sat for awhile, and now i really dug into it the last week again.

I got all the fur off the side fairings and tail, im not even going to bother with the upper fairing since im not going to be using it. and then decided i hate the stock tail and wanted something else since it was broken anyway. so i picked up a GSXR tail with seat cowl and tail light for 125 bucks on ebay.

shortend the subframe and made a new mount for the rear which is rivited on, the front mounts are also just peices of angled aluminum riveted on.
you can also see where i cut the under tail. i drilled and tapped holes in the subframe for it since the stock ones were cut off.

heres how the tail lines up with the mounts.

I think it flows pretty well with the rest of the fairing and looks so much better than the huge stock tail.

tonight i did a bunch of cleaning, painted the brackets for the fairing and made a rear muffler mount since i dont think ill be running passenger pegs. i also made the lower bars for the subframe but need to have them welded on, i cant weld aluminum.

And now for my first round of Questions!
1. does anyone have any picture or able to explain where the fuse box mounts? as well as the relays behind it?

2.what is supposed to go on the chrome tear drop shapped thing? its attached to a breather going to the valve cover.

also are there only two lines going to the gas tank? there are three things on the tank two bigger lines and a smaller one that looks like it should be a vacuum hose but i have nothing going to it? should there be or is it just a vent?

3 hoses from tank. fuel, overfill drain, and a breather.
