My 06' 600rr wont start... or do anything
Hi Guys,
I just purchased a downed 06 cbr600rr with a few issues. I can't get anything to turn on. When i turn the key, nothing noticably turns on . The blinkers kindof work and i dont have headlamps to test. I dont hear the fuel pump and nothing on the display iluminates except for what apears to be a clock in the lower right corner. The bike wont crank or even make a clicking noise. I tried charging the battery and when i reconnect it, the tach makes a full swing but then remains lifeless.
What should i be checking? I downloaded a service manual but am ot sure of what year it is for. It had some destailed wiring diagrams so i am going to see if the match my bike in the morning.
Any help is appreciated.

Battery. Replace it.
Dropping the bike shouldnt have anything to do with electrical. If the left side fairings are rashed, take them apart and see if any of the wires were clipped but Im almost positive its your battery, since it made a difference after you "charged" it

well, i found a fuse box that was missing a fuse. I replaced it with the appropriate 10A fuse and the guages work now.
It still wont crank though and the fuel pump wont even prime. I removed all of the exterior plastics and didnt find any wire breaks. What would stop the bike from cranking and priming?

Well not knowing where the bike went down...did anything impact the area around the kickstand? cant forget about the kill relay there....ya know I see it alot my buddy almost everytime he rides (600rr) he forgets kickstand drops her in gear and BAM it dies...we all laugh and he gets this AW *** look...its great.... but you may wanna trace down that connection I believe its on a switch relay. Good luck.

Check all of your fuses, the main under your seat and behind the left fairing. Check the kickstand kill switch, as stated above^^, lean sensor may be f-in up.

OK, i put the kick stand up and it cranked away... DOE!
The fuel pump still wont turn on but the tip sensor is missing so that is probably the reason. While im waiting for the new one, is there a way to bypass it? Is it just an angle sensitive variable resistor?

That would be incorrect. You have a "Bank", "lean" sensor that will trip if you drop you bike, cutting off the engine. That would be electrical.
