Thanks again for the replies.

Well, this isn't turning out to be as intuitive as I thought it would be.

I've consulted the downloaded manual, and loosened the four screws and all the pertinent hoses have been taken off.

The bank of carbs just ain't budging though. I'm either going to pull the bike off the stand or rupture a disk in my vertebrae.

Are you guys sure there isn't anything else that needs to be loosened up first? I can get them to wiggle a little bit back and forth, but there's no sign at all that they're ready to pop off of there.

Signed.

Desperate and Slightly Pissed Off.
When I removed mine I had to stand on top of my bike and pull as hard as I could - when they finally came I went flying off the bike and truely busted my *** - it was like something off America's Funniest Home Videos....

And that's why you shouldn't pull them straight off...

Rock them back and forth, you've got to work them out of the rubber booties.

Try to get one end out first and "peel" them out.

Yeah, it took me and another guy doing that, plus a carefully placed pry bar, and voilá! Off they came.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
