Default R/R

Ordered a new r/r and this one is twice the size of the other 2 I used. Just wanted to c I'd anyone else had one like this before I put it on. (didn't have the right size bolts to put it on now)

it looks exactly like the one for the 900 and all i can say is that unit has always been trouble.. a lot of guys use either the gsxr 1000 unit 2001-2004 or the hayabusa one not sure which years.. when i did mine i sodded it in and its been 3 years since the last time i thought about it..

I ordered that r/r when mine burned up(literally) while riding one day. Ended up being way too big to fit in factory location with my aftermarket tail section. I didn't feel like relocating it to a spot that would work so I ended up buying a Rick's r/r. Same size as stock if not a bit smaller and fit in factory location. Word of advice, don't cheap out and get a replacement that is also known to fail. Upgrade and be done with it.

Unfortunately the reason why I bought the gsxr unit is because I went through 2 of ricks units in less than 8 months and needed to find a more permanent solution. .
I hope it works good for you..
might not be a bad idea to keep a spare with you

Only way round this problem ive found is to keep a spare on me ive tried 4 or 5 different types on 2 different f4s longest ivehad one last is bout 8 months... i do 500miles aweek though
