Default 900rr rear wheel fits:)

if you're like me and pretty much hate the 3 spoke wheels found on all the new hondas after the rc51 which shared the same 6 spoke design as the 900rr and f3 then maybe this'll be some good news to you, I've searched high and low and have not seen anything about anyone putting a 900rr rear wheel on an f4. I've had a 900rr wheel sitting around and decided to bolt it up, it fit 100%, it's dimensionally identical to the f4 rear wheel. They have the same exact cush drive and everything. Now, for the front I'm almost certain the vfr 800 front wheels will fit or an F3 wheel, they both have a 20mm axle and even the vfr has the same exact rotors as the f4.

It'll be a little tilll I have a full set on, I'm going to have them powdercoated gold and get some metzelers before I put em on

here's some pics...please forgive my "rear stand" lol

If you are going to swap in an Interceptor front wheel, why not go for the gusto and swap in the swingarm and rear wheel to match?

Man I think that will look sick with the bronze on red! What year RR swingarm is that and did it bolt right on?

swingarm is 03-04 model...the 05+ have a different top suspension mount but will work.
use a 1000rr shock. drill the "center stand" mount on the back of the motor to accept a 10mm bolt
bolt the lower suspension to this area.
grind the right side rear wheel spacer to ~.450"
make spacers or use 600rr rear wheel...the f4/f4i axle is 20mm but the 600rr axle is 25mm so you need 20mm ID x 25mm OD bushings for the chain adjusters and the 600rr brake caliper mount.

other than those small things it does bolt right up in the stock location.

as for swapping for vfr swingarm...that is $$$$ while I came out on top with the 600rr swap...only paid like 28 shipped for the swingarm and pieced it together for less than 100. VFR swingarm is like 300 alone. That and I don't think the vfr swingarm fits without some modification to either the f4 frame in the form of spacers to accomodate a smaller width vfr swingarm or reverse...milling the vfr swingarm.

f4 and 900rr wheel are identically dimensionally.
