Default seat latch release

how is it supposed to be stock because when i got my f4 there is just a cable sticking out of the fairing next to the license plate
can someone post a picture of how is should be
i know my friend with a 07 gsxr has to use his key to pop the seat on his

There should be a key lock/cylinder in the bottom of the rear that is used to open up the seat.
Not very secure if anyone can pull the cable and open up your seat...

I still have the lock cylinder and cable on mine, but the latch is missing under the seat. I don't care since I don't store anything that is worth stealing under the seat and the seat stays on the bike just fine. I coverd the lock with my plate since i'm not useing it.

i had to order the latch for mine. the lock part was there but not the latch that holds the seat down. if my bike wasnt being stored 40 miles away id go take a pic for you
