Well I can tell you how I did mine.
Undo the clips engine side, pull hard!
Actually I used a tyre iron and screwdriver to gently lever them off but be careful. By hand you can hurt yourself and with levers you could damage the carbs/bike. They are a bit tricky to get free.
They are tricky to remove the first time, because they probably havn't been removed in a while, but yeah you'll have to use brute strength to pull them off, stand over the bike like your sitting on it, and avoid usung a lever.
I have managed to get my carbs off and they have been cleaned. I forgot where all the hoses attach. if anyone has a link to a website that has some pictures of the bottom of the carb with the hoses attached that would help greatly

go get a 20 inch long screw #2 phillips driver and loosen the clamps on the engine side (look from left side of bike) rather than the ones on the carbs themselves use a flashlight to see all the way to the other side.
