First bike 97 cbr 600 f3
HEy guys im new to this forum and just got a 97 cbr 600 f3 from my girlfriends dad for 2100. it only has 5800 miles on it. I needed to drain the fluids change the oil filter and a new battery but it only costed $120 for all that. did i get it for a good deal. And I looking at getting some parts for it. def a new tire and pipe.. any ideas on which ones?? i plan on getting on this forum alot so trying to make as much friends as possible.

Thats a great looking bike and for that many miles I would say its a great deal. Welcome aboard! Tires, you can get anything up to 180 width, but its made for 160 I believe. 180 will look cooler, but 160 is what the rim is made for and will provide better handling because it isnt being bowed out in a tight U form.
As for pipe... get whatever i have some random carbon fiber pipe short pipe that is mashed against my swingarm but it looks cool, doesnt get hot and sounds badass!

Hi just got my 95 f3 4 weeks ago and love it, having a few tech problems but i dont think it's the bike just poor maintance, its my first bike i paid £1400 for mine with 32k on it and its in mint condition never a day out it the rain and always garaged, but last owner put wrong oil in and naffed the clutch. so my advise is follow manual recommendation and service reg and you cant go wrong.
