Default Help, I'm a newbie!!!

Just bought my first street bike about three weeks ago. It's a 1996 F3 and i absolutely love it! It has 16,000 miles on it and i got it for $2,500. I think i did ok. But i have one problem. I'm hearing a clicking noise when i start the bike up. It doesn't do it right away cuz i let the bike warm up for a little bit when i start it. Once the bike starts to warm up i hear it and then when the bike gets warmer like after i've rode it for a few minutes it goes away. I've heard mention of some cam chain tensioner and also carb sliders? Could it be one or the other or something totally different. And if so how do i fix it? I appreciate any help from you guys!! Thanks

Default RE: Help, I'm a newbie!!!

thats a good deal.
its either cam chain tensioner or carb sliders. all the old hondas have that problem.
I changed the tensioner, the rattling is less but still there.
i dont know how to fix the card sliders.
