Talking R1 Tail on my 98

Well I have been talking about it for a few days now, so I figure it's time to post up the pics.

Here is what I was working with, Sharkskins race tail with a seat and tail light off of a 95 F3.

Decided that I wanted a cooler, more modern look and decided on something from Yamaha (I refuse to blend in..) I found a complete 01' R1 tail section on-line for $60, so I decided to go for it..
Here is what it should look like when it's done..

I have cut a few things off so far, red circles have been cut off and blue ones are what still needs to come off

Ideas, Comments, Suggestions ?

Quick update.. The very end does NOT need to come off like I had thought, it is actually in a perfect spot.

I thaught u said you had to keep the stock seat on for it to fit ?? lol

I may try and talk my mate into doing this to his F2 as he refuses to cut the end of his frame.

that would look so gnarly if you put the tail at a lil steeper angle. nothing crazy maybe 2 or 3 inches higher in the back..otherwise it looks really sweet. nice to see people think outside the box so much
