You, my friend, will make millions with that invention! Gotta run to the patent office tomorrow night to claim european rights
Actually have a Loobman oiler waiting to get fitted. Gotta see if I'd have the time at weekend.
Just took off my gauge cluster. Really easy job... if you have the hands and dexterity of a capuchin monkey! Got it loose but it will not come out! Lucky it doesn't have to as I only was after the backlight bulbs. No wonder it was a bit dim, I had ONE working bulb in there! ...and of course the clock just hit 9pm so the nearest bulbs (open gas station) are half an hour away in the city. Gotta put the working one into the speedo so I can see that while riding to work and get new ones tomorrow, can hear the revs and it sure as heck is not gonna boil at these temps.
In case someone is googling the info later: cbr 600 f2 gauge bulbs are W5W glass wedge types and there are five of them. Plus the warning lights.

Finished what I started yesterday. Slight improvement. I've been dancing around this until the mornings got dark cause I somehow thought the whole front cowl needs to come off first. Took me 13 mins, without hurrying. Don't want LED bulbs cause first of all IMO the gauges complement the red/black color scheme nicely, and I don't want them to be any brighter either cause I have slightly reduced twilight vision so bright gauges can glare pretty bad.

inherited a 94 f2 and it's my first carburetor anything ive tried to work or take a look at.
I jumped started it after 2 yrs of sitting in a garage. fired up pretty quick though.
BUT fuel was leaking from a T that sits between the tank and carbs. What is this part called and where to purchase one
also what are these tubes between the carbs used for?

That is a very common thing for an f2 to to fail at. You do not need new T-couplings, only new rubber o-ring seals. Just make sure you get ones that hold gasoline as they are identical by looks to the ones that do not. Shouldn't cost more than mere pennies. Take the carbs apart from each other by unscrewing the nuts from the ends of the connecting rods that tie the carbs together, disassemble the choke rail and take the carbs apart from each other to access the t-couplings. Take note that there are little springs in the throttle linkage between the carbs that you have to a)not lose b) know how to put back there. They will try to fly off so be prepared. Also note that once the carbs have been apart, a carb syncronization must be performed afterwards or the bike will not function properly. Once the carbs are apart anyway, and specially since the bike's been sitting it is very recommended to perform a proper and thorough cleanup to the jets. Although they may seem clean to the eye there might and probably will be resinated fuel and other crud that has to come out.
EDIT: just re-read your post. So you have a leak BEFORE the carbs? Might need new fuel hoses if they are deteriorated or just proper screw clamps to seal the joints. Those upper hose couplings you are pointing at are vacuum lines. Don't know if the 94 f2 has different setup but I don't remember having that big one in the middle. IIRC 94 is the last year of f2 so it might be different from mine.
