No, I've got no update yet, just that I paid another $500 on it a couple of days ago, so I only owe $300... I DO need to get it in my garage, to start digging into it, to get it set up for me, and get the racing numbers changed.

 

All of the parts are in except for some aluminum tubing for the swing arm and new bearings. I'll start a thread as a "how to" later this month. Just finished intake mods and rejetting of my son's f3 that worked very well.

 

Well, I have been riding my Repsol F2, but other than that this post really has nothing to do with F2's at all!

I'm happy to report that I finally went and picked up my new steed, and now have it in my possession!




At some point I'll get a thread going in the 600RR section, as I begin to change or setup the bike.

 

About daym time! Haven't seen you much around here lately! Bike's looking so cool!

 

Without a doubt! It took a while to get it all paid for, and then a long time to get a trip coordinated to go get it... heck, at some point it was like the thing didn't even exist!

But, it's home now, and time for the work to begin - I learned while getting it cleaned up, and stripping the old numbers off, that the LeoVince SBK system on it is full titanium, which is exciting.

Also, I did take it for one brief jaunt, and let me tell you, having 133HP (118HP at the rear wheel) with a bike that is SOOO much lighter, it is very noticeably more responsive and powerful, and I haven't even thrashed it yet! I cannot wait to do so!
