Default Rebuilding the cane

Hey all, I finally got around to ripping my '87 hurricane down to the frame. I'm gonna build it into a "streetfighter" but not too extensive, just enough to give it a little updated look. This thread will show my progress.

And now it's all sand blasted and ready for a primer coat.

Thanks guys. Well last week I got the plauge (stomach flu) that put me down for the whole week so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but it's getting there.

Got the frame, forks, rims, tank, and swingarm primed and ready for paint. I also shot some paint on the fork tubes and front rotors.

Yesterday I got everything painted except the tank, that's going to be done by a professional. I also ordered a new front tire had both tires mounted on the rims, I going to pick them up from the shop today.

Finally started reassembly! The motor is in the frame and I got the swingarm and rear shock together, can anyone tell me if I put the shock linkage thingy together correctly? It was sort of confusing and I just want to make sure...

Thanks guys, can anyone varify that I installed the rear shock correctly? I still don't think it looks right but that might be because of the goofy angle the bike is sitting right now. Any thoughts?
