Default What's normal temperature?

Picked up an aftermarket temp. gauge, had to add a ground to it, to get it to work. 3 terminals. After the bike is run to initial operating temperature, this gauge hovers around the 250°F, when I hook up the old gauge, it shows normal, (on the cool side) closer to C than H, but what temperature would that be? What's the normal temp? In degrees, Fahrenheit, if anyone knows!?

200-215*F before the fan kicks on. 250 will warp most of the aluminum in the motor, case, head, etc.

Sorry, I actually sent this to the wrong forum. Hehe, should've been CX/GL 500 forum. HA, I was wondering why people were talking about electric fans. Peace, and adobo grease!
